Caesar's Empire Overview

Romans are known across the world for their victorious ventures in battles. RTG takes players through the journey of war in Caesar’s Empire. 5 reels and 25 paylines come to enable the player to achieve the goal of getting some spoils of war. The ancient-themed game further offers a free spins feature, with substantial payouts from wilds and scatters. Set at the front of the Rome Coliseum, symbols include Julius Caesar, Trojan helmet, 9-Ace poker cards, Cleopatra, fruits in a bowl, as well as a sword and shield. The coin size ranges from 0.01-0.25

Game Details and Play

In the casino game, Julius’ face engraved on a gold coin acts as the wild. It can replace all other symbols except the Coliseum, which symbolizes a scatter. The wild is also capable of completing win combinations. Any such setting comes with a 3x multiplier. However, for that to take effect, the wild has to be on either reel 1, 2, 3, or 4. Meanwhile, wins earned through the scatter earn multipliers on total money wagered. Five scatters appearing on the reels earn 100x.

When the scatter is on reel 5, and one or more wilds appear on the reels, 10 free spins are earned. Any bonus thereof is multiplied by 2x. Further still, extra spins get awarded again when a wild appears during the first free spins round. As in most RTG casinos online, progressive jackpots make appearances at random. Lastly, the slot has an RTP of 95%, which is quite favorable. The players can also be a part of Julius’ journey on their mobile phones. Graphics are neatly done, and the game is quite involving for all and sundry.

Caesar's Empire is an old video slot machine powered by RTG software provider. It has 5 reels with 20 active paylines. Like the name of this slot tell you; the theme is about Caesar's Empire. I played it a long time ago, but I did not have any big win on it.The main game is ok, but I never won anything big from it. Most of the time I won only a few pennies more than my bet. I played it mostly at 0.40€ bet per spin. The game offer you free spins which is the only feature here. When you get at least one Caesars symbol and the Coliseum symbols on the reel 5 the feature starts. 10 free games are awarded, during free spins all prizes are doubled. Every Caesar that appears awards up to 5 extra spins.I played Caesar's Empire only for a short time. The only reason is because I had bad luck on it. But I triggered free games twice during my gameplay session. First time I won only around x10 bet, second time it was a little higher around x20 bet. I was hoping to get something bigger than that, but this game was in bad mood for me. Second time I retriggered some additional free games, but still the payouts were low.I think this game could be good and it can give you some good money. The paytable looks good for me, but I don’t know if I will play it again in near future. I like the way how you can retriggered free games during feature, like at Piggy Riches or some other games, but the payouts which I got were small. And this is the only reason why I will not play it again – so often in near future. The main game is quite boring too – from time to time - with all small winnings. My ratio for this game – 6 stars!

Caesar's Empire video slot was created by real time gaming and it is just another one old video slot, i make this statement from the fact that this game looks very outdated. Of course it is not hard to guess the theme of the game so i will not describe it. Caesar's Empire video slot has 20 paylines, and in game involved wilds and scatters. Wilds in base game appear on reels 1 2 3 4 and i find it is a bit strange, since this means that it is not possible to grab 5 wilds in a line during base game. Scatters here only pay some money, 5 scatters payout is only x 100 total bet and i think it should be a bit higher. To trigger feature player need to get Caesar on reel 1 and scatter on reel 5, like at enchanted garden video slot, i did not like when feature triggered by this way, it is a bit strange and stupid in my opinion. At least good thing here that wilds have x 3 multiplier, and best 5 of a kind can pay something good. In free spins wild can appear on reel 5 and give you 5 of a kind, but payout will be something like x 300 total bet, and i am sure it is not what i wait from 5 wilds in free spins. In free spins all scatters changed to wilds or Cleopatra, which of course give some chances to score big. Also every wild add random number of free spins, up to 5. I never hit anything good on this game and my general is experience is bad, both base game and feature never pay more than x 100 total bet and therefore i not playing this game anymore.Medium variance game with for some reason low payouts, and this means that game is not interesting for me. Random jackpot of course can pay something great, but chances is small and also -1.5% of return to player for game... No thanks.

This Roman age inspired, 20-payline slot can easily join to numerous mates on the market that well-built around this glorious period of history. I like Caesar’s Empire’s view and think illustrating Coliseum in the background was a wise choice and give the whole pictorial appearance more monumental look (just like the sound of triumphal fanfare of accumulated winnings does it in other area of perception). It would be hard to introduce new game symbols for a game like this and Caesar’s Empire didn’t try to do that and uses the ordinary figures like sword and shield, golden coin, Cleopatra, helmet. The game brings the average graphics quality what this software developer can provide which is not the best but good enough to not be considered as a disadvantage.Like every RTG games it also feeds the players with hopes of winning a Random Jackpot amount that well displayed in the center of the screen to not forget the ultimate goal. Cleopatra is the best 5 of a kind option in normal games and can reward up to 2500 coins (just like 4 Caesar symbols) but if that win is completed with Wild, this top prize is 7500 coins. So besides the Wild function to triple the wins it also takes part of triggering free spins. If it appears anywhere on the screen and at the same time a Scatter lands on the 5th reel, 10 free games are starting. During this extra, we can forget that Caesar Coin only appears on the first 4 reels or the Scatter can pay out max. 100 times of total bet because there’s other little rule applied to that stage. Caesar can appear on every reel there and each such symbol adds another 5 free spins while Coliseum scatter doesn’t participate here at all instead it turns into Cleopatra or Caesar figures giving more chance to achieve a highest paying winning especially considering the prizes of all successes are tripled. Because of this symbol gathering option, free games can be sometimes very open-handed and with often appearing Caesar Coin the number of spins are easily increasable.Overall, it’s a fine game and I like it but it behaves as a typical slot. Sometimes the free spins are coming one after the other and the player is wondering why don’t play it more frequently and other times $50-$80 are lightly can be thrown out the window without any bigger win or getting any feature raising the question ‘Is this the worst slot I’ve ever played’? That’s the beauty of gambling to never know what comes and you’ll especially never know it with playing Caesar’s Empire, but it’s worth to test from time to time.

I declare that my review is based on my own experience and represents my genuine opinion of this slot.
