I don't think this game is as popular as it's progressive linked counterpart Mega Moolah Isis, but personally I much prefer this version. All progressive games by their very nature need to attribute a portion of your wager to the progressive prize pool which lowers the RTP for individual players, and the difference over a few hundred spins is really noticable for me - you can't fail to notice the huge difference in playtime between an 88% slot and a 96% slot.Isis is one of three Microgaming slots I know of that share the same maths model and paytable, the others being Supe It Up and Beach Babes. Isis is my favourite of these but it's purely because of my preference for the look and feel and symbols used in this version - there is absolutely no difference in terms of payouts or RTP. They are 25 line games with excellent paytables and the chance for some huge wins in the free spin rounds.Up to 30 free spins can be won by landing the maximum five scatter symbols simultaneously and no matter how many spins you receive you always benefit from a chunky 6x multiplier. The wild symbol doubles any winning combination it forms a part of and also has its own 10,000 coin payoff for a five of a kind. This is of course very difficult to achieve and you could play the vast majority of slots for many thousands of spins without even seeing such a hit in the base game never mind in the feature, but when it does land you are surely certain to jump massively into positive RTP for your days session - these are the kind of wins that I play for. The paytable in Isis isn't entirely slanted towards the top end and is still capable of throwing out a decent number of smaller wins to keep your balance ticking over inbetween features. Games like this really make me wonder why so many NetEnt games appear to pay out so little despite having very similar RTP figures, and even a large number of Microgaming slots fail to match the excitement and winning potential that this game offers. Isis is truly a throwback to the golden age of on-line slots for me and is a game I continue to play regularly after several years.

If anyone asks me which Isis game I prefer more, I wouldn't be able to give a true to heart answer. Why? Because of conflicting opinions within my head. They say that any game that has a jackpot prize attached to it would play and pay slightly differently than the same game without any jackpot. True or not, I cannot say for sure, I can only assume, but my former boss once told me never is dangerous!, so I won't. Mega Moolah Isis has a jackpot attached, this Isis hasn't. Both are identical games, with exactly the same paytable, but each game's configurations may not be the same, in my honest personal opinion. One game has to contribute to the jackpot, the other doesn't, so like it or not, one game configuration has to be modified to accommodate for that contribution to the jackpot. The rest is arguable, without any possible conclusion.I have played both versions of Isis, having played the Jackpot version first. I have played this non-jackpot version too, but I must admit, not to an extent that I could 'see' or 'feel' the differences between the two games. That would require lots and lots of regular long plays on each game, which I'm not interested in doing at all because they aren't my favourite games. Nevertheless, if I were to spend a lot of my money on this game, I would certainly play the jackpot version, for very obvious reasons. Well, if you are playing to win, and who doesn't, then might as well aim for the biggest win possible, the multi-million dollar Mega Moolah Jackpot Prize.Having looked into the game's paytable, there is no doubt that this Isis game can stand on its own ground, even without a jackpot prize attached to it. The win values for the symbols are amongst the best, the overall paytable is an excellent one, the win potentials are huge to say the least, and you can hardly find a better Free Spins game that offers 20, 25 or 30 free spins with a 6x multiplier, and with a Wild that doubles all wins, thereby providing wins with a 12x multiplier. 5 Wilds pay 10,000x the line bet, 5 Scatters pay an incredible 600x the total bet and the other lower symbols paying from 2000x to 50x the line bet for 5 of each kind. Now that is breath-taking indeed. Wouldn't you just love to get those wins!I am so used to complaining about how rare it is to get retriggers of the Free Spins game, but I did get them in both the Isis game versions, albeit only 1 retrigger, but that's not too bad. Better than none at all, which seems to be the case with most other Microgaming games. Don't ask me why, I cannot figure out why Microgaming game designers are making them so hard to get, as compared to games from other providers. Playtech games are still the most generous, and the best, where retriggering of Free Spins games are concerned.

With Isis slot game from Microgaming we can virtually get back in time to ancient Egypt and play with some cool symbols. Though it has just an average graphics (in some ways it reminds me of some RTG games) but with large, colourful figures it can’t become boing. I’d lie if I say I can recognize every figures but I think at a slot that shows symbolic pictograms of that age maybe it’s venial. But what more important is the possibilities that the slot offers. The fact that Mother of Horus symbol (Wild) doubles its winnings and a5 of a kind success with it can pay 10.000 coins is one thing but what I really like the most and think not many slots have this quality is the chance for a big Scatter win. Falcon figure has the unique power to rewards players if 5 of them appear anywhere on the reels, with an amazing 600 times of total bet prize. I usually consider 200 is a good multiplier number for this kind of win but 600 is quite something. I can’t remember to ever seen such high value at any other game and I’m just hoping I will meet it at work and not just while examining the paytable. This noble bird figure also can activate free spins (20, 25 or 30) that can be re-triggered during extra games but the best is all of the winnings under that segment are counted with x6 multiplier. No, there are no more feature but I think with attributes that the existing extras have there’s no reason for complaining. While playing I’m always waiting for Scatters and even if they haven’t formed a quintet yet but some nice free spins results can be thanked to them. Once I was lucky enough to this feature’s re-triggered twice and had almost 70 free games in total. I wish I had played that segment with higher stake but the triggering spin of $1.25 still could cause some nice returns. Anyway, I don’t use 25-line games with much higher total bets but with Isis it was especially true because I noticed that higher bets are dramatically decreased the chance for scatters and the free spins.True, I’m not delighted by its visual appearance and maybe more could get out of this theme but how can it be possible to not like a game that has the potential for such well-paying features. It’s one of those games where the slot qualities are not harmonized with the exterior but fortunately this time this difference is a positive one.

I declare that my review is based on my own experience and represents my genuine opinion of this slot.
