Space Race Overview

Space Race in UK is one of the older releases by Play’n Go, but it’s popular to date. When it was released, the graphics and animations used were ahead of their time, which shot the set right up popularity charts. The theme of the game is well represented on the five reels and three rows, and punters are tasked with flying a rocket through a meteor shower as they collect payouts. The playing grid is made simple with translucent black reels that make the star-lit space backdrop the star of the show. The title of the game sits at the top in bold blue and yellow fonts.

Gameplay Procedure

Play’n Go place the control bar in a second screen for nearly all their slots, Space Race in UK included. The menu is opened using the button with three stripes placed at the bottom right of the screen. On the second screen, players can adjust:

  • Coin value – point zero one to one credit
  • Coins per line – one to five coins
  • Active pay lines – one to twenty play lines.

The higher the stake placed, the bigger the wins accrued. However, the results of each spin remain unaffected despite the bet used.

Space Race in UK Wins

Three to five similar symbols in this 94% RTP game have to fall on an active bet line to activate a payout. The playing cards have the lowest winnings of between five and one hundred and fifty credits, A is the highest paying. The moon follows with wins as high as 250 credits, and the earth with 500 credits. The space rocket and astronaut are the highest paying with wins of five hundred and one thousand credits respectively. Bonus rounds are triggered by the scatter and wild, which grant multiplier and free spins bonuses. No progressive jackpot is included in the game.

The Bottom Line

Space Race in UK is accessible for free play in numerous Play’n Go casinos online and watchdog sites. However, the real money versions can only be accessed after casino account registration.

Whatever Miami TV series or movie this Hotline game may have been based upon, my first impression when I first looked at it was its similarity with Quickspin's The Wild Chase game. Both are about robbers stealing valuables - which in the case of Hotline, is about robbing jewelleries. A very new game from NetEnt no doubt, but the graphics quality simply failed to impress me! The overall presentation of Hotline looks dated, like it came from some years ago, and the colours simply lack vibrancy too.Looking at the values of the symbols in the paytable only made my jaw opened wide - I simply couldn't believe the incredibly and extremely low values! The highest paying symbol, the Lady, pays an unbelievable 6x total bet win for getting 5 of her, so the other symbols can only have even lower unbelievable win values! The Wild symbols don't pay anything, so getting 5 Wilds on a payline would be absolutely nothing to shout about - you get a blardy win of just 6x the total bet! Similarly, the Sunset Scatter symbols are also non-paying, but worse still, they award only 7 free spins and without any multiplier too! What the argh!Don't ever let the possibility of getting 5 Wild Reels makes you think that this Hotline is a super game - it simply isn't! Why? Firstly, the Wilds can only substitute for the highest paying symbol, the Lady, which has a maximum win of a miserable 6x total bet! So even if you get all 5 Wild Reels, at 30 paylines, they would only pay a 180x total bet win, which is simply unheard of! Compare getting 5 Wild Reels (Harps) in Jack And The Beanstalk game, or 5 Wild Reels (Wild Desire) in Immortal Romance, for example, and you can see how ridiculous this 180x total bet win really is! Secondly, in order to get all those 5 Wild Reels, you need to activate all 3 Hotlines, at a cost of 3x the initial bet per spin! So, instead of playing with just $0.15 bet per spin for 1 Hotline, you'd be playing with $0.45 bet per spin for 3 Hotlines, which most of the time, would only go to waste by the empty spins! But wait, that isn't all of it yet! When playing with just 1 Hotline activated, the Red Car Wild symbol would appear quite often, but not always landing in the Hotline zone. Playing with all 3 Hotlines activated, the Wild symbol would hardly appear at all, even after numerous empty spins! Honestly speaking, I found that playing with 2 or 3 Hotlines activated would only be a big waste of money! It's really pointless to chase after those 4 or 5 Wild Reels, because they cannot ever pay big!

I declare that my review is based on my own experience and represents my genuine opinion of this slot.
