Sweet Life Overview
Sweet Life Slot Review
As the name suggests, Sweet Life video slot is all about honey production and incorporates symbols such as the bear, bees flowers and other symbols that are associated with honey production. It is provided by Igrosoft software providers. The symbols are very attractive and tickle your taste bud even though it is all virtual. It has five reels and 9 pay lines. The nine paylines are suitable for beginners mainly because they get to practice and learn the ropes of online gambling while playing. It makes it relatively easy to play.
Maximum Bet and Jackpots
The slot is offered by numerous casinos including casinos online. You get the opportunity of placing a maximum bet of $180, meaning that the game is suitable for high roller players too. The jackpot is no progressive but fixed. Sweet Life video slots have the bear as the wild symbol, and the beehive as the scatter symbol. The beehive can help you unlock the multiplier feature which can triple your wins, while the wild symbol helps unlock winning combinations. Although the wild symbol doesn’t have any coin value, the features and combinations it unlocks are worth it.
The Bonus Features
The bonus feature is activated by the selection of the right beehives, making it a game of chances. If unluckily, you pick the dog-bee, the round ends, but if you pick five beehives, you get a bonus round. With a low RTP, the payout range is quite low, so you have to play and have fun while you take your chances of winning good money. Unfortunately, no free spins features are provided, so you can only enjoy the bonus features.
With the bear theme, the game is exciting and incorporates adventure. Playing it is simple with relaxed rules, which is a great combination.
Sweet Life REVIEWS BY PLAYERS
Played about 500 rolls and hit the free spin about 2 or 3 times...and they were all dead spins. No big wins either on the regular non free spins... Looks nice and all, but it just doesn't appeal to me after that.
Hitting the spin button causes both sets of reels to begin turning and you immediately notice that there are stacked symbols on all reels which usually means it is possible to hit a full screen of the same symbol. With the large strips on the right showing tweve symbols on every spin though I didn't get my hopes up for filling that window with identical symbols! After around ten spins I got my first glimpse of how the two sets of reels link together. The symbol I now know to be mystery appeared on reel five of the smaller reels and suddenly a large group of identical symbols transferred across to the larger reel set on the right before transforming into a different symbol - I'll admit to being really quite confused at this point and decided to consult the paytable!I managed to work out how these Mystery and Reveal symbols were intended to work, but still couldn't quite grasp the paylines - it appears there are 58 lines and some of them seem to continue right across from one set of reels to the other, but I could never predict just how good a win I was about to receive when the reels had stopped no matter how many times I looked at the payline diagrams. I could have searched the internet for some extra help in understanding this slot mechanic but the truth was the game just hadn't grabbed me enough to be bothered about doing so.I've since seen this same arrangement of Colossal reels in other games from WMS and do enjoy playing these slots but can't help feeling that the whole thing is overly complicated for no good reason! I do love fresh and unique ideas in slot games but for me Sweet Life just takes things a little too far, it's just too difficult to get to grips with what is going on!
About the payout rate I have to say that I was a little bit disappointed because I was expecting to win a decent amount from the free spins that are very hard to catch! The gems should be smaller and less shining because you can't watch for a long time at this slot and obviously you can't play it for a couple of hours!
The scatter pays are quite disappointing too with just 100x bet for all five and annoyingly they don't trigger a bonus round or the free spins either, those are represented by a separate harp scatter and again quite infuriatingly just five free spins are awarded for three of these symbols and scoring more than that seems very difficult indeed, not least because the two different sets of scatters always seem to get in the way of each other and often end up awarding you just 2x your bet... if your lucky. The first thing to go when I played this game was the music, and frustratingly I couldn't find a volume control or music off option anywhere in the game to turn off the grindingly repetitive fiddle tune so ended up just killing the volume on my whole machine for a while instead. What's so hard about including a music off button guys?!
To sum up, there is nothing special in this game. You cannot win large while playing this slot. The mansion symbol only substitutes for other symbols but it does not have a multiplier so it is very week. I am not excited at all when I see it on the reels because I know it is not going to pay very much. There is also only one feature in this game and you can rarely trigger it. I got three cars only once and I did not win big.
Being a game from a fairly new games provider, this Sweet Life game has nothing much more to offer besides that 10 free spins. There isn't any Bonus game and there isn't any randomly triggered special features either, so players have to make do with just the Free Spins game. Personally, I wouldn't mind this lack of features at all, but the Free Spins game should and must provide all the fun and entertainment expected by players, which it fails to do. The Free spins games that I got from my few plays on Sweet Life paid only between 1x to 10x my bet amount! Totally disappointing I must say. Too bad, but let's hope that future games from SoftSwiss would see much more improvements and features.
