Gonzo’s Quest Extreme

The game has four different wild symbols with multipliers ranging from 2x to 5x but it seems extremely rare for more than one to appear onscreen at once for some reason meaning that whilst a 20x multiplier (for example) should be theoretically possible if the 4x and 5x were to land on one win line simultaneously, I haven't seen anything like this occur whilst I have been playing the game.I also found the bonus game quite hard to trigger too. Play N Go have a habit of putting their bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 only and although this doesn't necessarily guarantee it is harder to trigger than if there are five bonus symbols on the reels (it depends on the length of the reel strips) I do think that in the case of most Play N Go slots it certainly is more difficult. The bonus game has a maximum payout of just 150x your stake too which isn't as exciting as it might have been.I wish Play N Go had decided to include maybe a free spins mode with a multiplier in this game and then I think it would have been a really good competitor as a game for the festive season. As things stand this is okay, but nowhere near up to the standards of Net Entertainments fantastic Santa's Wild Ride.

Quite a number of Net Entertainmentfans like this Gonzo’s Quest Extreme game very much, but I couldn't anything in the game to like it that much. The Wilds, the Scatters, and the non-retriggering Free Spins games all disappointed me. All I could get was only 30x the total bet at best. All other wins fell below my expectations, but luckily enough, none of the Free Spins games paid nothing, or I would have blasted this game even more! Nope, I don't like the game, and it belongs together with all the other Golden Goose Bonus games...on my display shelf, or in my deep freezer.

I find the base game to be rather boring, without any Scatters to give small wins, without Wilds to double any wins with the regular symbols. Yes, wins with the cat symbols with any Wild symbol gets paid 5x, but that rarely happens. In fact, that Master Tom, the Wild symbol hardly appears at all on the reels, appearing only occasionally, and that doesn't help much at all. The Gonzo’s Quest Extreme Bonus game could pay well, but you need to be real lucky to clear that level 4 for bigger wins. I couldn't get that cleared, not even once. Nonetheless, Gonzo’s Quest Extreme can be a fairly good game to play.

Maybe just sometimes the castle is finished with some difficulty and you have to play enough, but always it is worth to finish building a castle.

Unfortunately the free spins can't be re-triggered. Would have been nice if additional spins could have been won during the free round.
