Just one little niggle with this game - during the free spins all wins receive a 3x multiplier, however the top paytable win of five wilds on a line for 10,000 coins is excluded from this rule. I really don't like it when games make exclusions like this - another one that really stinks is WMS insistence on making the wild not substitute for their games top paying symbols. The paytable should really be reworked to accomodate these massively rare occurences, as many players won't have bothered to read the rules in full and will get a nasty surprise one day when they were expecting a fantastic win. Apart from that though Resident is a great way of taking a look back at a defining moment in video slot history!

It can be very difficult to hit the free spins in this game. Not only do you have to hit the scatters as usual, but when you do this you have to choose one of them to determine if you will receive a simple cash prize or a try at the bonus wheel. And if you do get the wheel, it is filled with plenty more simple cash prizes as well as the two free spin options... I wouldn't mind this so much but the free spins modes themselves are certainly no guarantee of a big win either. And worse still, the cash prizes are much lower than those offered in the physical version of the game too!If the theme of Cirque Du Soleil appeals to you then give this game a try, but if your the type who isn't so keen on clowns then you might want to give it a miss! Personally I ended up feeling quite underwhelmed by this release which was very disappointing considering it looked absolutely fantastic when I watched promo videos of it.

Resident was a very disappointing game for me. In spite of getting a few Free Spins and Princess feature games, my credits balance never saw an uprise, always on the downside, right from the very first spin on the game! The seemingly average paytable did not live up to my expectations, and all I got was a straight losing game. What the argh!

I could get lucky with the Twisters duplicating themselves in the feature for 2 or 3 duplicated wilds and maybe even a wonderful retrigger which I find to be completely hard that I have to hit them before my free spins are gone, have little feedback by getting one replicated Twister on a reel that may or may not be useful or, entirely.....for my 9 Free spins, I would have no Wild Twisters showing which is indeed to be in the worst position to win! How the free spins will give me winnings will all be determined by the 3rd reel!

After few very nice wins, slot start getting money back. So you need to know when to stop and leave this game.
