What is really bad here is the very low frequency of the wins. Moreover although I did not play 500 spins, I bet I would have never had “5 of a kind” and perhaps even “4 of a kind”. During the Free Spins it happened to me to have Wilds on reels 2 and 3 and because there are so few paylines I was not offered any win.

There was a moment at about the spin no 70 in the game when I was in loss with 10-12 Euros. At first the slot was exciting when I was winning easily but when the lost increased I quit being so enthusiastic.
Boring game. Free spins pay low, all symbols pay low. You of course will get good payout for 5 wilds or 5 scatters, but chances is bad. Everything else is pay slow, and game just sucks money. You need jackpot here, or bust.
I've played this game so many times before, yet I couldn't get any nice good wins from it. The most I could get were several wins of over 100x my bet amount, from the various Free Spins games played, with no wins as big as what I could get from other similar Playtech games. Oddly too, I also found that the retriggers were harder to get in American Roulette by Playtech , and when they do finally come, the retriggers were usually not more than 3 or 4 times. Hardly sufficient to produce really huge wins like in Safari Heat, for example. Nonetheless, American Roulette by Playtech is quite fun to play, but is not as exhilarating any some other better games.
Like any other game that comes from Novomatic, American Roulette by Playtech too has some nice graphics but the sound effects are killing me. I do not think that it is possible to come up with a more annoying sound. I really think that they should have paid attention to that more. Anyhow, American Roulette by Playtech is a really nice game with a huge potential to pay big.
The old negative parts from RTG are the payouts smaller than the bet paid in 80% of the cases. And because the bet is only 25 cents, there are payouts as low as 5 cents. Only the “4 of a kind” combinations pay 1-2 dollars, but this combinations are found just once about 50-100 spins played. The payouts for “5 of a kind” are 5-12.5 dollars but they are like nonexistent here (in 300 spins I never had “5 of a kind”).
The funny thing is, I didn't win anything from this game, but I know that the Free Spins game can bring in some wonderful big wins, at the right time. For me, it was the wrong time.
