I do like random prizes but I truly hate deserving a trigger that lands a very low 5 Free spins upon triggering 3 Igloos in the base game. It's almost if this video slot made a hit and run on me! During the feature when I spun my free spins I WILL have a hard time getting both the Igloos and the Baby Penguin on the same horizontal row for a random prize. It's super tough and the prize itself may not be worth it....especially for 5 free spins only, I might not even get the chance for random prizes, only combo hits. The worst prize that I found for was 2 extra free spins that later gave me nothing after they spun lol!

First of all, I wasn't quite fully interested in Penguin Power until I read the paytable. It's only that I went on Penguin Power only 4 times that I hit the feature twice! It's an icy 20 paylines that gave out pays nearing my $1 bets. Although sometimes it was easier to bet 4 coins rather than 5 to save a bit of my balance per spin (it saves me $0.20 per spin). Even my mighty $1 bets could turn rusty at times. Upon my chance to trigger 3 igloos, I get a random free spins amount. It's more for 5 or 10 Free spins which don't quite give me a lot of chances to break the bank. This feature requires my free spins to land an igloo and a baby penguin on the same horizontal row to earn a random prize. Sometimes I had a 10x win, 3 or 5 extra Free spins or a cool 25x win. It all depended on chance and if I get these two symbols together to make it happen. For $0.80 triggering bet I mostly gotten $30 and for $1 it's around $36 which is slightly better. I only like this feature if it offered more than 10 Free spins so that I can earn better chances to try landing both Penguins and Igloos in the same row so that the Baby Penguin will slide through the igloo for a mystery prize!

Cute little creatures these are, more so when cartooned as in this oldie RTG game, but it could certainly do with a fresh upgrading of its graphics quality and with better background music. 1 star down.Sadly enough, this cute little Baby Penguin, which is the Wild symbol, doesn’t pay anything for itself except to double all wins with it. The Igloo, the Scatter symbol, carries a respectable 200 x total bet win for 5-of-its-kind. The adult Penguin, the highest paying symbol, has a 2500 x line bet value for 5 of them, while all the others are just lowly valued too. 2 stars down.3 or more Igloo Scatters trigger a free spin feature game, randomly awarded, either 5, 10, 15 or 25 free spins. Why randomly triggered, and without any win multiplier too? Not a good offering at all I must say. During the free spins play, whenever a Baby Penguin appears on the same horizontal line with an Igloo, it slides into the Igloo, revealing cash prizes or more free spins. This feature game cannot be retriggered. Sigh, 2 stars down.With such an offering of a paytable and feature game, I dread to think what Penguin Power can do in terms of payouts. The Wild Baby Penguin doesn’t have any win value, it doesn’t come stacked or expanded for better paying power, and the singular Wild symbol only doubles any wins with it. Getting 5 of these Baby Penguins is not possible because it doesn’t pay anything. The best it could do is to give 5 adult Penguins, for a payout of 5000 x the line bet, or 250 x the total bet win, that’s all! Nothing more than this. What a disappointing possibility! In real play, the game was really unfriendly to me. I just couldn’t get 3 or more Igloos to appear anywhere on the reels, not until it has eaten up a substantial amount of my credits! And what did it offer me? 10 free spins. How much did it payout? Less than 20 x my total bet. The second free spins game came much later than I would have liked. It was too far apart from the first. Yet it paid about the same 20 x my total bet. Utterly disappointing! After waiting for another free spins game that didn’t come, I called it quits. By then, I had lost most part of my credits, did not enjoy the game at all, was completely frustrated with the free spins game, and with no reason whatsoever for me to come back and play Penguin Power.
