The game features 1 10 paylines which might sound like a lot, but bear in mind that the slots unusual layout would actually allow for a theoretical maximum of 50 10 paylines! It's not surprising that WMS create other games with this layout that utilise ways to win rather than paylines and I have to say I prefer that system despite the fact that the paytable wins are quite significantly reduced in that setup.
One thing that confuses me a little about this game is that the jackpot win is stated as being just 1000x your stake (well, it is stated at 250,000 coins and the max bet is 250 coins...), however the top symbol pays out 1000 coins and with the 3x multiplier in free spins, a full screen of the Wild Thing symbol should return 3000x your stake by my calculations. I'm not sure whats going on here, it could be a typo or mistake on NetEnts part, but I'm unsure.All things considered I preferred Wild Thing 2 - that game requires double the minimum stake at 0.50 per spin, but you play on 99 lines for that stake, which works much better for this type of game - it can feel very frustrating playing this game and getting lots of re-spins which result in no win, something that is very rare with the extra 10 paylines in Wild Thing 2. It's not a bad game, but with a superior sequel its pretty much redundant now.
The free spins feature seems to be quite difficult to trigger. I guess that's where the majority of the RTP is stored since wins do come in frequently with the help of two wild reels.
There really should be more than 1 bonus symbol on the wheel because I find that it took me 2 triggers to land on that bonus slab before going to the rescue bonus! AND it could've been more awesome had my 2x win ($22.68) be multiplied further with 3x from instead of $11.34 x 3x for $34.02!!! Still, a job well done for only a 9 paylines slot!
